Dear Friends & Supporters,

We won! Thank you for your help and loyal support. I am humbled to have earned 58 percent of the vote and I am grateful to all of the individuals who joined our team to help turn out the vote and support my candidacy.

Many of you have been with me from the first time I ran for the state House. I can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the people of the 80th House district for giving me the chance to serve and for making the past six years a wonderful experience.

I am optimistic about the future and what we will be able to accomplish as we work together to turn our state around and help make Michigan prosper once again. As your state Senator, I will not forget the responsibility that you have given me.

I look forward to representing you as we help bring accountability to government by requiring transparency, as we create a better business atmosphere to keep and grow jobs here, and as we stop the out-of-control state government spending. It will not be easy to face the challenges ahead of us but I am ready and willing to fight for taxpayers and for our communities.

Again, thank you for putting your trust in me as your next state Senator.
